I had hail damage to my roof and wanted to avoid replacing it by an unknown roofer or a random door to door storm chasers. I wanted to use Owens Corning s Woodcrest shingles and found RK Roofing on the Owens Corning s website as one of their preferred roofing company, with very high reviews. I searched other sites, including HomeAdvisor for additional reviews, and found all great reviews for RK Roofing. Prior to hiring RK Roofing, I spoke with 4 other roofers. One roofer was too big or too busy to return my calls. The other 3 companies all seemed as if they were just salesmen making a quick pitch, so they can move to the next sale. RK Roofing was the 5th Roofing company I called. I receiving an immediate call back from the owner, Jerry. After my initial conversation Jerry, I immediately knew I would not call another roofing company. He s professional, very detailed oriented, candid and addressed all my questions. They are a small roofing company, but Jerry uses his own crew, who are experienced and very knowledgeable. RK Roofing were prompt to the job site each day, provided excellent communications during the process, were very careful when removing the old roofing materials, avoiding any property damage and thoroughly cleaned around my home at the end of each work day. The roof looks great and was properly installed to Owens Corning s specifications. Based on my experience, I would 100% recommend RK Roofing located in Bensenville, IL. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give RK Roofing an 11.”
